Dr. April Speed is a renowned physician with a breast surgery practice in Conyers. Recently, the facility expanded to 3280 Howell Mill Road in Atlanta. Dr. Speed brings her familiar patient-centered environment to this location, too. For this reason, the clinic’s management team contacted us to discuss the design of a lobby sign in Atlanta, GA.
This is not your standard product. It starts with aluminum backing. Dimensional letters spell out “Dr. Speed’s Global Breast Health & Wellness Center.” We added PVC with a vinyl overlay to display the logo image of the globe and butterfly with its gradient color change. But behind the logo portions of the sign, we added LEDs. With the illumination in place, the globe and butterfly are surrounded by a halo of light. It creates an unusual appearance and further underscores the venue’s brand message.
Illumination is a hot topic right now when discussing reception area signage. More and more business owners like the idea of having an independently lit marker as opposed to training spotlights on the sign. Options abound.
Of course, we still work with clients on standard lobby signs, too. These include lobby logo boards, dimensional letters, and sometimes the combination of the two.
Before you make your final selection of a reception area marker, discuss your plans with one of our graphic artists. We can show you ways that might save you money and heighten the pizzazz of the setup. In some cases, we can also help you to find a combination of materials that will look fantastic in your setting and encapsulate a brand message more completely.
If you worry about budgetary constraints, consider that there are plenty of options when designing a marker. For example, if you love the idea of metal but the cost of the material is off-putting, why not choose a foam marker with a thin veneer overlay instead? Call us today to learn more about your options and to get started on your project!
